At the quick lube I worked at out of high school we’d often wonder what a Daihatsu Charade and Rocky (among all the other odd foreign cars listed) were that were in our oil filter books.

1 liter, 3 cylinder, turbo. 800 kg (empty), >100 hp. I want one too.
I did drive a 4 cylinder 1.3L Charade of that generation once. That too was more fun to drive than I had expected.

My dad, who used to live in the US Virgin Islands said that the Rocky was actually kinda cool and popular. I’ve never heard of it until last night.
